Joel manages the operational performance of landscape maintenance teams in the region to provide a top quality service to all our clients. He is an experienced manager, having previously held senior roles with national landscape contractors where he secured a BALI award for a leisure and hospitality project. Joel studied Business Management and Horticulture and is a BASIS trained consultant on the safe use of pesticides.
Paul has over 20 years’ experience in the horticultural industry covering all aspects of commercial landscape services. He manages a number of varied contracts and his focus is on working with his clients to provide them with the highest standard of landscape maintenance while developing long-term professional relationships.
Steve manages several high profile corporate static contracts with full time site-based teams. Sites managed include business parks, chic shopping villages and hotels with a strong emphasis on quality, environment and health and safety. Steve began his horticulture career as a gardener before moving into management with a series of national contractors, winning numerous BALI awards. He is closely involved with daily operations and enjoys being part of specialist horticulture and grounds maintenance business.
After graduating with an honours degree in Environmental Management Tom progressed through the landscape industry to contract management, working throughout a wide range of different sectors ranging from housing and utility to corporate and retail. He is responsible for a number of multi-site maintenance contracts, ensuring consistently high levels of service and quality are achieved. Tom enjoys life at Nurture, since working for a multi-award winning company with some of the industry’s most respected figures creates a very innovative atmosphere.
Jason is responsible for a wide range of private and commercial sites across the South East. With over 10 years’ experience managing Regal, Private and Commercial Estates, wildlife and habitats are of high importance. Jason is focused on developing new prestigious sites and has a strong customer focus and flexible attitude to client requirements whilst building relationships and working within the team. Jason is currently studying to be a Bee Keeper and has various qualifications in land based machinery, horticultural and pest control.
Paul manages and supports a number of mobile teams throughout the South East, and London going as far west as Basingstoke.
Paul has over 20-year experience in the industry, starting as a gardener at Fanhams Hall in Ware, a Jacobean mansion. After joining Frosts, Paul became a Charge hand working on the University of Herts contract, covering all aspects of grounds maintenance; from tree and shrub management, to using ride-on mowers and marking sports pitches.
He currently manages a variety of contracts from environmentally friendly static sites to retail parks and corporate buildings such as Porsche Head Quarters in Reading, he also manages other services within his GM contracts such as drainage cleaning, lighting and latch way systems inspections.
He is enthusiastic and passionate in delivering a high quality of standards across all sites regardless of prestige and size.
Darrin has a Diploma in Landscape Construction from Merrist Wood Agricultural College, where in his third year he won a gold medal for an outside exhibit garden at Chelsea Flower Show.
He has a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience within the grounds maintenance industry, especially within the military sector, having worked as a Client Officer at PSA for MoD at Aldershot Military Town looking after Barracks, Housing stock and sports pitches. He then went on to work at the Transport Road Research Laboratories, Broadmoor Hospital, Civil Service College Sunningdale, Long Cross Barracks and Procurement Executive at Chertsey, before moving to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, working at Bagshot Park, Deepcut Barracks, and Keogh Barracks.
In 1997, Darrin joined Turfsoil Ltd (acquired by Gavin Jones) as Area Manager looking after a variety of client sites including, Gillingham Business Park, Chatham Maritime Trust and various Parish Councils and small businesses.
Trevor is responsible for static and mobile team contracts across the southeast of Englnd.
Having studied Horticulture at Writtle, Tevor has over 20 years’ experience within the industry, having worked in various sectors including, hard and soft landscaping, play equipment, safety surface installation, grounds maintenance and contract management, as well as being able to provide specialist horticultural advice on green wall systems.
He takes pride in his team delivering consistently high levels of service and quality across all their contracts.
Tim has over 15 years’ experience within the grounds maintenance industry and has progressed through the ranks. Starting his career as a strimmer pilot at Woolwich Barracks, he worked his way up to becoming a team leader on the Bexley contract, before being promoted to his current position of Contracts Manager.
He has gained valuable on the tool experience, as well as Nemours horticulture qualifications through the years. His responsibilities include overseeing the day to day operations of Gillingham Business Park in Kent,which has remained within the Nurture group of companies for over 25 years.
Tim’s focus is on building strong relationships with clients, delivering excellent customer service, and the highest possible standards of landscape maintenance at all times.
Vivienne has over 30 years experience within horticulture industry, originating in systems, procedures and finances before moving into Contract Management.
Vivienne joined The Nurture Group in 2018 when they acquired Gavin Jones Ltd. Previous to this Vivienne had been Joint Owner/Director of Norris and Gardiner for over 10 years.
Now being responsible for a wide range of mobile and static prestigious contracts in Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire including Corporate clients, private housing developments, hotels and military sites. She is also responsible for a site that received a BALI award in 2018.
Vivienne's focus is on building strong relationships with clients and working with her team to deliver excellent customer service.

|Having completed a National Diploma in Horticulture at Hadlow college in 2006, Kostas started working as a woodland gardener at Leeds Castle in Kent.During his time there, he gained valuable experience within most aspects of horticulture, and now holds numerous NPTC & Lantra qualifications such as Ride on mowers, chainsaw handling, tree felling, tractors / implements & chemical spraying. |
In 2012, Kostas joined Integritas Landscapes as a supervisor, carrying out mobile grounds maintenance visits around sites in Kent &Essex, where he further developed his organisational, communication and team building skills.
In November 2014, Kostas joined Nurture through the acquisition of Integritas, where he continued his role as a supervisor. In April 2019 Kostas was promoted to Assistant Contracts Manager and now manages a number of mobile teams operating throughout Kent & Sussex, covering sectors such as high end private estates, commercial, industrial, residential & retail contracts.
He is dedicated to ensuring that his teams deliver consistently high quality standards to all the client sites within his portfolio, and very much looks forward to the next steps in his career at Nurture.
