Nurture believes in the importance of the three Rs – REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE – to minimise waste across the business. The diversion of food waste from landfill is becoming increasingly important in reducing waste costs. Nurture and its client Chiswick Park have employed a traditional method to help manage food waste on the site.
The park is home to a 50,000 strong wormery that disposes of 50kg of food and green waste each day. This includes coffee grounds from Starbucks which is recycled into compost.
