The Pro Landscaper 30 Under 30: The Next Generation Awards

A huge Congratulations to our very own Dawid Koscianski on receiving his Pro Landscaper 30 Under 30:The Next Generation Award.

Dawid joined the Nurture family through our acquisition of Rockside Estates earlier this year.

Starting his career on the tools as an operative in 2012, Dawid soon worked his way up to a team leader position. Dawid continued his journey, going on to become a reactive supervisor before being promoted in 2018 to his current position as Contracts Manager for our South West region.

Through his consistent hard work and commitment, Dawid has worked his way through the ranks and is now a well-deserved winner of 30 Under 30: The Next Generation Award.

We are proud to have Dawid as a member of our team and look forward to supporting him in his horticultural career.

Dawid joined the team via our acquisition of Rockside Estates. He is exceptionally focused on customer service with great relationships with his clients. I look forward to supporting Dawid with his career development.Jon Fraser, Director South West Region, Nurture Landscapes.

The Pro Landscaper 30 Under 30: The Next Generation initiative has been running since 2015 and has helped propel the winners into the landscaping limelight, with most of the winners going on to bigger and better things since collecting their award.

It’s the industries search for the most impressive young people working within the horticulture, arboriculture, garden design or landscape sectors, and it shines a spotlight on the future of landscaping.

The initiative, sponsored by Green-tech, is now in its sixth year, and aims to recognise, reward, and promote the rising stars in the UK’s landscaping industry.

Pro Landscaper’s managing director Jim Wilkinson comments: “Firstly, massive congratulations to all of this year’s winners. What a year to win, with all that the world has thrown at us, and to see so many brilliant entries really reflects amazingly on this sector.”

During these extremely tough and unpredictable times, the performance of this year’s winners should not go unnoticed. It’s really important that we continue to recognise, reward, and promote the next generation as they will drive our sector forwards.”

The judges commented that the understanding and engagement of the value green space has on our environment shone through in the entries.

Entrants are scored on their passion, skills and qualifications, achievements, and their message to young people joining the industry. The highest rated once all scores were collated, were then enrolled into the Pro Landscaper 30 Under 30: The Next Generation Class of 2020.

Richard Kay, chairman of sponsor Green-tech, says: “Many congratulations to all winners. The selection process has been rigorous, and this is a great achievement and accolade of your career to date. You have been identified as one of the rising stars of our next generation and I wish you all the very best for the future and look forward to meeting you all once all the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.

The class of 2020 makes it 180 winners in total for the Pro Landscaper 30 Under 30: The Next Generation initiative since its inception.

A huge thank you to all the team at Pro Landcaper.
