Gardener - Oxford
We have a great opportunity for a Gardener to help maintaining the grounds at the prestigious Oxford Business Park. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to develop a career within the grounds maintenance sector.
You will report directly to your Team Leader and be working as an integral part of our grounds maintenance team. You will be working ‘hands-on’ with a team of gardeners to provide a top class horticultural environment for their client. You must be able to demonstrate an interest in horticultural together with some horticultural skills and experience – ideally from within a similar environment.
We are looking for a candidate who can show the following qualities:

Team Player – You will be able to take instruction and discuss any issues clearly. You will make a positive contribution to your work team and be prepared to meet all challenges in a positive and constructive manner.
Communication – You will communicate clearly and positively with all parties including your team leader and the public, meeting targets and deadlines and ensuring the efficient use of resources
Materials, Plant and Tools – It will be your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct materials, plant and tools to complete the jobs given to you. You will also ensure that the daily maintenance of the vehicles, plant and tools is carried out and company property is looked after and respected.
Health & Safety – You will be responsible for your own day to day health and safety and of those around you. You will only complete tasks in which you are competent and trained and will ensure that all works is completed in accordance with Nurture Landscapes health and safety policy, risk assessments and method statements.
Quality – You will ensure that all your work is completed to the best possible standard, in accordance to any instructions and specifications you have been given and to the satisfaction of the client.
If you have a PA1/PA6a qualification for spraying and a full driving licence this would be a positive attribute to your application.
